A traditional Japanese acupressure massage that focuses on
pressure point work. It can also include stretches and
movements of the joints. Usually done without oil through a
sheet.
Hot Stone*
Smooth, heated, flat stones are used as a tool in this massage.
Hot stones are heated between 120 and 150 degree water and then placed on top of the body which
helps release tight muscles. Some
therapists then use traditional strokes of Swedish massage while
holding the stone.
